A man out of Pike County is now facing a murder charge following a shooting on Monday night.

 

56-year-old Monroe Jackson was booked in the Pike County Detention Center following the shooting.

 

Not many details have been released at this point, but the shooting is said to have taken place at Jackson’s home on Caney Drive. The associated police report alleges that Jackson shot and killed Ryan Hurst following an argument.
