
A retired judge from Eastern Kentucky will soon have a portrait dedicated to them at the state capitol in Frankfort.
Janet L. Stumbo, a Floyd County native who retired in 2017 from Kentucky’s appellate courts after serving for 26 years, will have her portrait hanging in the corridors of the second floor of the capitol building.
A ceremony hosted by the Kentucky Supreme Court will take place next Tuesday, December 6th at 2:30 pm in the supreme court courtroom.
