A Floyd County Crash that happened Monday, which involved two county employees, has resulted in two deaths.

According to officials, the incident occurred on KY 1428 in Allen, near the Worldwide Equipment Building.

The crash happened when a county employee was driving a county truck with a plow when another employee that was driving their personal vehicle hydroplaned and struck the company truck, causing a person to be trapped inside of the personal vehicle.

The personal vehicle had a mother, teenage twins and a baby inside.

One person was confirmed dead at the scene and the other later died at the hospital from their injuries.

The truck driver didn’t sustain any major injuries.
