An update from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department:

 

Early morning on 3-8-23, Whitley County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a collision that occurred on KY 92 E. A deceased male was located on scene. A preliminary investigation indicates a Toyota Camry, operated by the victim, and a commercial Ford F-550 struck head on. At this point during the investigation, drugs and alcohol do not  appear to be a contributing factor.

 

The victim is identified as Arthur Siler, age 77, of Williamsburg.

 

Major Tony Dingess will continue the investigation.
