A man out of Pike County was recently arrested after he allegedly admitted to officials that he molested a young girl.

 

58-year-old Homer Lee Tackett, of Penny Street, was accused by a 15-year-old girl of sexually abusing her between the ages of 5 and 10.

 

Tackett is said to have undergone a lie-detector test on Tuesday. The results of the test were not made public, but officials claim Tackett admitted to the charges.

 

Tackett now faces a charge of first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse. He is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
