The City of Pikeville announced that they are holding a window decorating contest to honor first responders and public safety telecommunications officers.

Contestants must post a picture of their windows on the Pikeville Tourism Facebook page by Monday, May 15th in order to be entered into the contest.

The windows will be judged based on effort, creativity but more important windows will be judged on the spirit of the police, fire, EMS, and Public Safety Telecommunications professions.

All businesses inside Pikeville City limits are eligible to take part in the contest. The contest begins Monday, May 8th with contest winners being announced on Monday, May 29th.
