A man from Bullitt County has been charged by Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses following a Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch Investigation.

Kentucky State Police arrested 29 year old Dustin Richardson Scott on charges connected to child sexual abuse material.

Scott was arrested following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation conducted by the Kentucky State Police. The investigation was opened after authorities discovered the suspect had been sharing images online depicting child sexual exploitation.

The investigation led police to search a residence in the community of Shepherdsville. Police seized equipment that was allegedly used in the crime to be examined at the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory.

Scott is charged with ten counts of possession of matter portraying a minor under 12 years old in a sexual performance and five counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. Scott was placed in the Bullitt County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
