A Floyd County Man was arrested Sunday after police responded to a complaint of a male attempting to break into an apartment.

The Martin City Police Department responded to a call concerning a break-in at Grigsby Height’s Apartments in Martin. 

The suspect, 46 year old Donnie Combs of Lackey was arrested early Sunday morning at 4:30 AM.

Combs was charged with 4th degree Assault (domestic violence), resisting arrest and public intoxication (alcohol). Combs also had an outstanding criminal summons out of Floyd County for harassment.

Combs was placed in the Floyd County Detention Center.
