Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Update:

PIKE COUNTY (August 14, 2023) – The Kentucky Department of Transportation advises motorists of a nighttime closure along KY 632 in the Phelps area of Pike County for a cross-drain replacement project. The work site is located at mile-point 5.5 (1.5 miles West of KY 1758) along Upper Johns Creek.

Repairs will begin Friday, August 18, at midnight. Crews will cut across KY 632 to remove the old structure and work backfilling through the night to install the new drain. The road will re-open at approximately 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 19.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during this time and pay close attention to signage in the area.

KYTC will perform the work. Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
