A traffic stop in Madison County lead to a drug arrest Tuesday. KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Erik Stallsworth observed one of three occupants in a pickup truck not wearing a seat belt on Battlefield Memorial Highway. One passenger Jackie R. Bishop III provided the officer with false information on his identity. When his correct identity was found, he was confirmed to have two active arrest warrants. A juvenile passenger was seen smoking a cigarette and possessing tobacco products while under the age of 18, as well as a small cutoff straw and a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine and taken to Fayette County Juvenile Detention Center. Bishop was lodged in the Madison County Jail.
