Superintendent Dr. Henry Webb announced the 2016 Floyd County Conservation Art & Writing Contest Winners for students in the Floyd County Schools District. Dr. Webb congratulated the students and said he and the board team appreciate the Floyd County Conservation District giving the kids the opportunity to understand more about the environment through art and writing. County winners for Kindergarten are Kaiden Ousley, Rayonna Manns, and Madalyn Niece. Winners for Art are Todd Prater, Bryce McDonald and Izzy Yount. And Writing winners are Kaylie Edwards and Brayden Shepherd.
