KSP Investigating Pike County Shooting

On March 18, around 12:30am, Kentucky State Police Post 9 received a 911 call from Terry Runyon, 59 of Millard, advising that he had shot Joanna Looney. A few minutes later, Looney, 31, called 911 saying she had been shot. Preliminary investigation indicates Looney drove to Runyon’s home, where he discharged a firearm, striking her. Looney left the scene and drove to Millard BP to seek help for her injuries and call 911. EMS responded and Looney was treated at Pikeville Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. The case is still under investigation.
