Jody Roberts has been selected as the new principal of Betsy Layne High School, the Floyd County School Board announced Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Roberts has been in education for twenty years, serving as a 5th grade teacher and curriculum resource teacher at John M. Stumbo Elementary, then as an assistant Principal at Betsy Layne High School, where he has worked for ten years. Roberts said his heart is with the kids and community and will work to see Betsy Layne High is always a great place to be and to learn.
