A federal judge has passed a ruling on a high profile marriage equality case. Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis has made national headlines for refusing to issue marriage licenses, in protest of the Supreme Court’s decision on marriage equality. Yesterday U.S. district judge Jim Bunning issued an injunction, which requires Davis to begin issuing licenses again. He stated that couples should not be forced to travel to another county to get a marriage license and Davis should perform her assigned duties.
