Officials with the Floyd County Health Department took to their Facebook page yesterday afternoon to announce their 31st confirmed case of COVID-19. All contacts have been notified.

During this weekend they encourage you to do things to protect yourself from the virus. Even thought restrictions have been lifted for many places; they recommend that you limit yourself to events with the least likelihood of you and your family getting the virus. While they realize many folks are growing weary with the restrictions, they believe those have helped hold our numbers down. Thank you to those who are doing what you can to protect yourself and others.
