Matt Bevin has just announced that POLICE Chief Richard Sanders will officially be serving as new Commissioner for KSP. Sanders has more than 40 years experience in law enforcement. Accomplishments by Sanders include, introducing a canine program, enlarging the unit that deals with special investigation which is now responsible for over 1.5 million from drug traffickers. Sanders worked for the DEA for 24 years, before leaving he worked as a assistant administrator  for the operational support division at the DEA headquarters in Washington, DC
