Officials from the London-Laurel Rescue Squad reported that they were called to a home alongside the Rockcastle River in London by the Pongo Fire Department. They were called to the scene for a pair of overdue kayakers.
While en-route, rescue squad personnel learned that a woman in the kayaking group was having a seizure.
Rescue crews found the kayakers around two-miles upstream and assisted them to the 1956 Bridge. The woman who had been seizing was checked on by medical personnel.
