Here’s an update from the Mountain Water District:

Some outage areas have been restored with some areas still without water. Water for all of Indian Creek and Long Fork of Virgie up to the Fire Department has been restored. Restoration has also been completed for Millers Creek and 194, with Scott’s Branch mining being the exception. Restoration efforts have begun on Elkhorn Creek, from Big Branch to Jackson’s Branch. Crews will be working in the remaining outages areas until water is back on. Roughly 600 service connections are still out at this time.
