A woman out of Pike County was recently charged in a 36-count indictment which accuses her of taking money from a mining service and supply company.
41-year-old Oynetta Robinette, of Phyllis, has been charged with five-counts of theft and 31-counts of possession of a forged instrument.
The theft charges allege that Robinette took money from Trey-K Mining and Electric. The charges span from August of 2021 to September of 2022. The forged instrument charges stem from the 31 forged checks, totalling $17,000, on which she allegedly forged Trey-K president Keith Thacker’s name.
Each charge is a felony punishable by 1-5 years in prison if she is convicted.
Robinette is scheduled for April 13th for arraignment of the charges.
