
The Floyd County Community Early Childhood Council will be hosting a summer spark event on Wednesday, June 14th with activities designed for ages 5 and under.
The event is free and offers various fun activities for kids to promote early childhood education. These free activities include various crafts, a kids cooking activity, school readiness skills and much more. Kids will also have the opportunity to meet Ollie The Otter to learn about water conservation and Smokey The Bear to learn about preventing wildfires.
Although these activities are designed for ages 5 and under, older siblings are welcome. The event will be at the Eastern Branch Library on Wednesday, June 14th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
