Police have charged a Wolfe County man following a shooting that led to an 18-hour manhunt and several schools going on lockdown. Pedro Torices, 44, of Campton, was charged with first degree assault, fourth degree dating violence assault, second degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree terroristic threatening. Kentucky State Police determined through investigating that Torices fired a weapon striking another person on Friday. They said Torices left the scene prior to law enforcement arriving, leading to the manhunt. At least five schools were on lockdown on Friday as a result of the manhunt.
