
United States Marshals and Martin County Sheriff John Kirk captured a man wanted in Ohio on felony warrants, then busted him for possession of methamphetamine Thursday afternoon in Inez.
Law enforcement located and executed fugitive warrants on 39-year-old David Lee Perkins of Circleville, Ohio, at about 2:30 p.m. at a residence on Turkey Creek Road in Inez. Perkins was wanted in Ohio on three counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, a felony of the fourth degree. An hour later, in the booking room in Inez, Sheriff Kirk charged Perkins with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, specifically 5-1/2 grams of methamphetamine that Perkins had on him.
