Members of the Hazard community are looking to make a difference to help Louisiana flood victims, WYMT reports. Organizers were taking donations until 6 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the Hazard Wal-Mart. One of the organizers, Samantha Case, said she felt this was her calling and soon received help from Robin Newsome. Newsome was effected by the 2013 flood in Eastern Kentucky and wanted to help those in need. The truck will be leaving for Louisiana Saturday.
