Kentucky State Police in Morehead were contacted in reference to an unresponsive man in a vehicle on Mountain Springs Road near Stanton on Sunday. When troopers arrived on the scene, it was determined the driver of the vehicle, David L. Rogers of Ravenna, KY, was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Mr. Rogers was driving a 2000 Buick sedan and the vehicle was still in drive when first responders arrived on the scene. KSP is seeking assistance from the public in reference to this investigation.
