Fallen Trooper Honored With Memorial Highway

At a ceremony Monday, Kentucky Highway 326 in Anderson County was renamed in honor of Kentucky State Police Trooper Eric Keith Chrisman, who was killed in the line of duty on June 23, 2015. KSP Commissioner Rick Sanders called it bittersweet to honor Chrisman in this way, but that the it will serve as a timeless reminder of his service. Chrisman’s parents have continued to keep their son’s legacy alive through the establishment of the Eric K. Chrisman Scholarship Fund, which provides students from the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg with scholarships to advance their education.
