Kentucky State Police, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Pike County during the morning hours of Tuesday, November 29, 2016. The preliminary investigation indicates that Jerry Leedy was traveling West on KY Route 194E in the Kimper community of Pike County. Leedy lost control of his Ford F-150 pick-up, crossed into the East bound lane, and collided with a commercial vehicle owned by NJL Trucking. Leedy, 24 of Kimper, and one passenger were both transported to Pikeville Medical Center before being flown to UK Medical Center.
