Around 4pm Wednesday, November 15, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made arrest off Blackwater road in the recovery of a stolen scooter. Larry Wayne Miller, 59, of London, was found in possession of a .40 caliber handgun and a scooter that had an altered VIN number. He was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property. Miller was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
