On Sunday, April 28, 2019 around 1pm, Kentucky State Police Post 9 Pikeville Troopers and a detective responded to the scene of a fatal ATV collision that occurred in the Hurricane community of Pike County. The preliminary investigation discovered two juveniles were traveling on North on Porter Lane and had attempted to make a U-turn, causing the ATV to leave the roadway, then overturning and ejecting both occupants. The passenger, identified as 6-year-old Keagan Ryan Music, was transported to Pikeville Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The operator of the ATV was uninjured.
