FEMA officials will be opening a mobile assistance center in Knott County on August 1st.

 

Representatives from FEMA will be present to assist with applications for federal assistance and to provide information about other disaster-recovery resources.

 

FEMA financial assistance may include finances for temporary housing, basic home repairs, or other uninsured, disaster-related needs like childcare, transportation, medical, funeral, or dental expenses.

 

The center will be located at the Knott County Sportsplex and will open at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 1st. The center will be open from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily until further notice.
