Ellis Fugate, age 96 of Hazard, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on Sunday March 12, 2023, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on November 24, 1926, in Dwarf, Kentucky to the late Sam Marcus Fugate and Florabelle Slone Fugate. He was the Husband of the late Lillie McCoy Fugate.

Funeral services for Ellis Fugate will be 1PM, Friday March 17, 2023, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky with Donnie Miller officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 16, 2023, from 2PM-10PM. Burial will follow at the Campbell Cemetery in Hazard, Kentucky.
